Kelli's Concert List

WOW!!!
Well, I will NEVER forget my first concert!  8th grade, slept out at Smith's in A.F. to get tickets like 4 months before the show!  When it came close to concert time about 2 weeks before, I no longer liked the band and neither did my friends who also had tickets!  What to do? Call the concert expert... Kim!  I called her crying and she said to "just go, even if I didn't like them, the experience would be fun, and memorable"  I followed my wonderful big sister's advice and even told my friends!  So Nicole's mom drove us to the Marriott Center in Provo in her minivan and dropped us off to see none other than... The New Kids On The Block!  (I kid you not

Now, I know this is a picture of them twice, you see... the New Kids are popular again!  Maybe I wasn't such a nerd after all, people are paying way more to see them today then my $36.00 in the 90's!   I saw the top picture of them and really like Joey McIntyre (the one on the far right).  Funny thing is Kimmy saw Joey play "Fiyero" with Idina Menzel in the all to wonderful musical, "Wicked".  I guess he's back to doing "the right stuff".

Sawyer Brown - 3 or 4 times

Phil Vasser - played groupie with Robby and got pics with him, so nice!
Garth Brooks - 13th row ON THE FLOOR!!!!  Eat that! Well Mome', and Robby were there too!
Manheim Steamroller - 2 times Christmas and Yellowstone edition
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Diamond Rio
Billy Dean
Dave Matthews Band
Donny Osmond
Kurt Bestor
Michael McLean - More times than I can count, most recently last year, got pics with him he                                         loves me!  Really he does! Ask Mome'
Janet Jackson - Talk about weird, I am in High School and I run into my two sisters Jill and                                    Kimmy at that concert!!!  Totally unknown to all 3 of us that we were all                                          attending "Miss Jackson if your nasty"'s concert!!!
I recently (September 2008) attended "Rock Jam" in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Not only did I see some "high class" people, I listened to some awesome bands!
Big Head Todd - pretty good
Survivor - Yes! They played "Eye of the Tiger"
Joan Jett - She's a fiesty, little rocker, AWESOME!
Dokken - liked them
Kid Rock - not "family friendly" but sooooo fun and LMAO!
Poison - Yes, we held our lighters or cell phones to "Every Rose Has It's Thorn"!  And have to                     say I was not a big fan of Bret Michaels after seeing half of "Rock of Love" on MTV :(                     But I am a changed woman, he is a GREAT entertainer and held the crowd awesome, I                 highly recommend seeing Poison if you get the chance, WAY FUN!
Saving the best for last...

LINDA EDER - No one can hold a candle to her and "Just Jeremy" (her ever so faithful and                                     happy piano play for over 20 years)!

There she is ladies and gentlemen!  Da Bomb!!!!  She even autographed this exact picture for me (and Kim got one too) when we met her backstage, hugged, took pictures and chatted for about 25 minutes!  It was so awesome! I think I've seen Linda in concert 4 times now. At least!!!
Thank to Lori for introducing her into the Family and also to Kimmy for keeping the flame alive!
Well, I believe that may be all the concerts I've seen, sorry to disappoint you all after reading Kim's list!
Let's see what happens on the next post! Exciting!!!

That's a great list Kelli. I wish I had a list like yours.

Does anyone know where to get music from "The Party?" I haven't been able to find a source to download it from. I'd sure love to rock out to them again. Lori, maybe you could share that video...

OK-who is "The Party"? I know I am a dork but I don't know this one! Also, I'm pretty sure I introduced Linda to the family, I think...

Kelli-why does your post have all these weird spaces in it? I hope it's not MY fault! LOL

I forgot about the NKOTB thing. I'm so glad you went and enjoyed it! :)

Dang! I forgot all about Mannheim Steamroller! Not sure how many times I have seen them for sure but they are really fun to see in concert! The "Music of Yellowstone" that they did after the fire in 1988 was too cool. That was an awesome concert. I think the Utah Symphony played with them during that one.

No Kim! You are not the "dork" about The Party. WE are the "dorks" the were an awesome knock off band from the Mickey Mouse Club and YES I do know ALL the moves!
Hey Lor! Robby has your video. I haven't had it in years! I'd love to have a viewing party though! Is that a good enough reason for a visit???
Are my posts weird to everyone? They love Awesome to me!!!! lol
