Dr. Evans

Our beloved pediatrician...I saw him until I was 21 and he told me it was time to move on and see an internist (yes a Dr. for adults) I was so sad!

So many memories of Bryner Clinic.

Stitches, broken bones...I think it was me who had most of the stitches, and Jill probably wins for most broken bones (arms). Remember racing around the hallways in the wheelchairs. I know each of us have a whole lot of memories there.

Remember going to get shots. I remember one time imparticularly when I think we all had to have a shot. I remember learning it was best to go first, because watching everybody else sit and cry was not fun! (same goes for spankings, ear piercing etc.)

The best part was leaving and going upstairs to the drug store to pick out a treat!

I think it's necessary to point out that while you were only 21, you were married - and still going to a Pediatrician!

If it makes you feel any better, Kim told me the other day that she saw Dr. Evans until she got married (at 24 1/2 years old.)

Ah, yes, Dr. Evans. He was so nice to us. And the pharmacy upstairs, picking out a treat-I remember the smells and sounds so vividly.
I remember being bribed with a whole bag of candy to sit still and get a vaccination/shot. It was all I could do, but boy I wanted that candy! Seems like we were there alot, is that true?

Lori, I remember vividly watching you get hit in the forehead with the baseball bat. OUCH!
You were always the brave one to go first. I'd have snuck out of there every time, if I could, or waited until the very last moment. Anticipation to this day is not my favorite feeling. I'm a slow learner sometimes.
