The Big Sister

Kim has always been creative. She took some amazing pictures Saturday after Landon's baptism. It starting snowing BIG flakes and Emmy, Delaney, Gracie and Will were happy to be models for her.

When I was 14 (9th grade), and Kim was 20 (at college) we both got mono. Mom took us to Dr. Evans and we had to wait FOREVER. Seriously, I think we waited in the exam room for well over an hour (maybe over two!) Kim rounded up some pens for us and started drawing on the paper that covers the exam table. I joined in, and we drew little pictures of flowers, shapes, characters, animals and doodled anything we could think of. Kim, didn't you have a cute little chicken that you were famous for? I'm pretty sure we had the entire paper solidly covered with our drawings by the time Dr. Evans came in.

I was always amazed at how talented she was...I still am and she still is!

Remember the election posters she made for me of "Charlie Wong". One of them said "Charlie Wong say vote for Lori or he'll stick chopsticks up your nose" Really we hung that up in the Junior High hallways?! She is quite talented!

I agree with Kim's talents. I'd like to see some of her photos from Landon's baptism, if you're up to posting them, Kim.

Jenny, I think there is a great one I took of you, with your camera-you were fixing your hair. Zoom in, crop it and post it. It is hilarious. It's all about a good laugh.

I had a good time Saturday with you and Kim and your kids. My kids never want to leave.

Lori, did you win that election? Please say you did, because that was so P.I.

If it's all about a good laugh, I'll post some pictures.

Wouldn't it be more PC if we said "eldest sister" rather than "big".

I am finding I need some work in these PC areas.

The other day at Grandma's, Mom pointed out a painting and said that Kim painted it. It was awesome! And Mom said it's painted on the back of a cereal box! I still also remember that Christmas countdown calendar--I loved being able to take off a little present to reveal Christmas was one day closer:) I have a vivid picture of it hanging on the kitchen door.
