Another Dance Photo

I rented this dress...the funny thing was Laura S. had rented the exact same dress...(I don't think she got the hoop!)

I'm dressed in my pretty dress (HOOP and all)--and Jaime's brother Devin was driving us to the dance in their green two door car. I was trying to get my hoop thru the door and shoved into the back seat. I finally sat down and the hoop (and dress) went straight up...I kept having to push that thing back down all night! What was I thinking! I'm sure mom tried to talk me out of the dress and hoop (Right mom?) or she knew we'd get a lot of mileage out of this story years later.

Lori, I love the hoop story. This dress is a classic. I remember Laura S. having this same dress. What a compliment.

That dress is quite lovely. I can't believe mom let you wear it! You had to deal with the pin-on corsage as well...I can't believe that lace held it. And, didn't Scott know that he was supposed to color-coordinate with you? Great picture!

Not only is the dress killer but your makeup is absolutely stunning!

I wore some great clothes and dresses, but I NEVER wore a hoop! I imagine that was quite a challenge getting in the car and all that. I think you look like a "pink frosted cupcake". Which is a compliment. I never rented a dress. My friends and I "borrowed" each other dresses. Well, you look totally 80's which is the point right? You were totally in style!

I cannot find my box of dance pictures! I found a few loose ones in a different box that I can post but not the ones I am looking for.

Yes, Lori - I do remember trying to talk you out of the hoop. It looked really cute just standing there - but very impractical in a social setting. good times!!
