New York

It's time to post the stories of our NYC trip (it already been almost 5 years). It was so much fun and time to do again with everybody.(Kelli you'll have to post some of the pictures)

Kelli only you can post your song about mom and the man on the subway! (Hilarious)

my 1990's fancy linen outfit I brought along for a big night out--I was forbidden (maybe too strong of a word) to wear to Wicked and given clothing options from all of you...(I did finally take that outfit to the goodwill-) REALLY it's not going to come back in style?

Kelli with all her shoes that matched every outfit...Lori with 2 pairs (reeboks and sketchers sandals)

Kelli searching FOREVER for that purse/wallet? (to buy) I think we got in an argument over this one...

Ok--the cell phone in the ziplock baggy. Did I carry it that way the whole time? or just on the Ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty?

The menu in the window...Kelli scared that man half to death...

Sipping soup from a straw...

Towels for blankets...

The chocolate now that story will have a few different versions...I'm starting with mine. I was in search of chocolate (luckily there's Duane Reeds on every corner) and telling someone a good way to save money is to buy the King Size candy bar and then you can eat it over several days. So that night I got me a couple of chocolate squares and put the rest of my candy bar on the nightstand. In the morning I woke up and look over and see Kelli...still sleeping...and she's got blood all over the side of her face and hair. Mom and I look at her again, closer, with the lights on...and see it's chocolate...she had fallen asleep with my candy bar.

Oh I wish we had pictures of that!

THAT! was a fun trip! We got to see Kristin Chenoweth play "Glinda" during her very last week. We went to the NYC temple. We shopped for purses and shared clothes.

Lori and Kelli are the most memorable for me. For one, Kelli brought FIFTEEN pairs of shoes to NYC for 5 days! Her suitcase was so heavy that she had to relocate some of her shoes in Brooke and Hannah's suitcases!

Lori carried her cell phone in a Ziploc baggie. She also brought "extra" Ziploc baggies for other things.

Lori has to eat EVERY 2 hrs. Word, or should I say FOOD, on the street! LOL

Lori took Brooke's straw and "sipped" the last of her chicken noodle soup out of the bowl.

Oh there are sooooo many more. Give me time.

I can't believe I missed that trip. Kim was telling me just the other day about your 1990's outfit Lori...glad to hear you have finally parted with it. I'm sure it was cute in it's day.
