Remember some of our FUN past New Years Eve's? I was thinking about being down at the Rasmussens in their driveway banging pots and pans and garbage cans--and of course the stake dances...They were the BEST! What did you all do to ring in the New Year? (How bout one year we all go to the Big Apple and watch the ball drop?)

Yes, Lori! I LOVE the one where we go to NYC and watch the ball drop in Times Square! Isn't that December 31, 2009? Let me know on that one okay! I'll give you some memories you'll never forget!
(lawn chair man and steak dinners)
OK ladies! I'm totally up for a trip back to NYC! For my birthday, it's my birthday, you can all come, we can dance some! (nice sing song poem huh?)
Banging pots and pans was a big one. I wonder who could even hear us out there! LOL Ask Kelli about telling her kid and a couple of my kids that it was 12 midnight when it was really only like 11 pm. She had them celebrating an hour early cuz she was tired and ready for bed. Don't be too mad kids, New Year's was being celebrated somewhere in the world along with you. LOL
PS--I wonder if mome ever did something like that to us?......Mome?
Maybe we can bang pots and pans AT 11:00 p.m. in Times Square while also celebrating Kimmy's birthday!!! What do you all think? Kill a FEW birds with one stone!
I don't remember tricking you guys. I probably went to bed and told you guys you could celebrate on your own. I do remember being at Rasmussens - some of the neighbors joining in.
My big 2008 celebrationwas going to dinner at Market Street Grill with my friends, going to Temple Square to see the lights and enjoy some great entertainment in the Assembly Hall. I was back home and in bed by 10:30. I was awakened by the neighbors fireworks at midnight. Good times.
I've got December 31, 2009 marked down on my calendar for NYC. Should I bring a ziploc baggie for my cell phone, or will Lori provide those?
