A few days ago the snow was just coming down. The flakes were huge and white and floating lightly down to the ground. It was magical. I helped Delaney and Mikelle don all of their "snow clothes" so they could go outside and play in it. Elphie, Kelli's dog, LOVES the snow! She is a tiny, little thing--bounding around in the deep snow like a rabbit.
I decided, of course, to grab my camera. In my defense, it is VERY hard to take pics of a white dog in the snow. Especially when it is snowing hard and she's running around like a maniac. She finally settled down and seemed to be standing in the snow not to far from me. (How could I tell if she was standing or sitting? The snow was so deep and she is so small?)
Well lo and behold! She was NOT standing or sitting! BUT squatting! (notice the little "package" she left me in the second photo) That sweet little dog came over and took a dump while I was taking pics of her! Me, stupidly thinking she is just "holding still" for a minute. Nope, she had business to take care of and THAT she did. Dang dog! LOL.

Whatever it takes to get them to hold still...I'd try that with my kids, but you can usually see it in their faces:)
Elphie did not "blunder" she was simply taking a moment to reliever herself, running does that to her! Heck, running does that to me!
Thanks for putting such NON flattering pics of my cute dog pooping on her Kimmy! I am proud!
Does that make you love Dixie more? She would never do that to you.
Oh! Dixie would SO do that! Elphie just had to take a little moment and Kimmy came barging in her "private time" you know that's the REAL story! Elphie quietly and so daintily taking care of things! What a good dog! Good Girl Elphie, Good Girl!
Nice Try Jen!
You know I love Dix and Elphie both. Elphie is a white dog in the snow and the snow came up past her "crotch" (do dogs have crotches?), so I really couldn't tell she was squatting. I imagine it would be easier to tell if Dixie was, even in the snow. I for sure would NOT take pics of that! LOL I've got some great pics of Dixie just being herself.
