Sunday's lesson was amazing! What Manner of Men and Women Ought Ye to Be? by Lynn G. Robbins A must read or listen to again. This was the talk about the to do and TO BE lists.
The week started with a bang! House cleaning, Halloween Festivities, gum ball gathering (twice), dropping needed items off at school, grocery shopping, meetings at both schools, play dates, volunteering, lunch date, gathering boxes, a snow day, Lion King, dinner date.. and I came down with a cold at the end of the week.
My goal: I did spend 45 minutes with Avery at the piano doing flash card and theory, so I feel good about adding that to my piano learning goal.

The things we do for love!
I've learned running shoes are a necessity at this stage of life. The to do list is always being added to... I'm working on acceptance and balance. It's a great stage of life-just busier then I'm used to or imagined. I thought when both kids went to school all day it would be easy to get in some of my personal goals...that's the balance part I'm learning. I've learned in the last two Christmas seasons I don't want to just cross things off my list in life...I want to enjoy them.
So sisters...write down some advice. what do (or would) you do for that balance...especially as the holidays approach what are your plans to slow down and really enjoy the holidays.
Looking to the week ahead...neighborhood soup night, school holiday lunch, a friends theme Relief Society meeting, volunteering in school, birthday party. Date night. My realistic goals this week...exercise. 3x the loop. making muffins with Avery. get the food storage shelf -get the basement organized.
Have a great week!
